Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bernville, PA

June 24, 2014

Hard on the heels of my observation about the disconnect between the A-A plan and Lutherans, here is one I had known about for some time but lacked an image—until tonight. Probably a C-1 type—the church website terms the polygonal appendage a “chapel”—the stonework reminds me of several other churches I’ve seen in that part of Pennsylvania. Google.maps lacks a street view for Bernville, but the building is clearly evident from the air. Construction took place in 1897.
