Methodist Protestant Church, Steubenville, OH

February 7, 2015

$_57-1

The Methodist Protestant church existed as a splinter of Methodism during the years 1828-1939. This example in Steubenville, Ohio was built in a restrained version of the Richardsonian Romanesque, though more of the latter than the former. The Sunday School at the far right is certainly adjacent to the sanctuary; it remains to be seen if there was a movable wall between them.
