Presbyterian Church, Ligonier, PA

March 8, 2015

$_57-36

John C Fulton, an architect of Uniontown, PA, designed several churches in the southwest region of the state, though his reputation—and a couple of commissions—spread some distance beyond simple regionalism. This “series” tend to be C-1. What astounds me about the Ligonier example is the stone veneer on the rotunda: there must be a hefty amour of steel in there to hold it up.
