Christian Church, Broken Bow, NE

July 29, 2015

NEbrokenbowXtian

As long as I’ve invoked the A-B-a-b type of alternating entry-and-mass, here is another, this time in wood construction rather than the more familiar masonry. The Christian church in Broken Bow, Nebraska isn’t quite complete: note the construction crew taking a break and the missing front steps. The card is dated October 8th, 1907.

Hello my name is Alan and my father owns this property now… would you have any more pictures

    • Hi, Mr Iverson: It’s always a surprise when someone responds to one of our posts, so I’m grateful you found it. Most of our examples have come from common penny postcards, like the one you saw on the Broken Bow entry. Sorry to say that it’s the only image we have. You’re certainly welcome to have a JPG scan if it would be useful. Can you say if the interior has been extensively remodeled?
