Baptist Church, Frankfort, IN

Diagonal plan churches with corner entries are common. They are usually “outies” rather than “innies,” like this Baptist church in Frankfort, Indiana. Still situated at Wabash and Columbia streets, a substantial education wing has been added at the south (to the right in this postcard view); and indeed it may not have had a true Akron Sunday School in the first place. Still, I’m fond of the building’s foursquare honesty.

UPDATE (22.10.2016): The architect for FBC in Frankfort was C.W. Bulger of Dallas.
