An aerial tour of Wilkinsburg, PA

Groping on google.maps this afternoon, I was in search of the former Trinity Reformed church — a handsome Richardsonian pile with a prominent octagonal lantern — and found several other likely candidates for the database; buildings, by the way, for which I do not have postcard images. These screen shots convince me that certain cities probably lend themselves to aerial surveying like Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, a part of the Pittsburgh metroplex.

The telltale curved or polygonal element is often a sign of an Akron Plan Sunday School.
