Methodist Episcopal Church, Glendora, CA

Glendora’s M.E. church looks very much as it does in this vintage postcard view. I continue to find fascination in the corner entry with book-matched façades, which implies a corner pulpit in the opposite corner. The religious education wing has an “independence” that may translate into a non-combination plan, but I’m still betting this is a late example of the A-A.

On-line information is scant but it seems the date is no later than 1914 and the architect was S. C. Woodall (about whom I know squat).
