Methodist Episcopal Church, Oroville, CA

August 23, 2016

This building stood at Robinson and Lincoln streets, the congregation’s second building, and was built between 1909 and 1911. They are currently at a suburban location, with no explanation what happened to this building.

As you might expect, there are several Spanish Colonial or Churrigueresque churches in California, though they are certainly not limited to the American West. For comparison, look at the First Christian church of Winters, CA.

PS [15FEB2017]: Another image of this church (an RPPC card) just appeared on eBay but too expensive for my budget.
