First Methodist Church, Middletown, OH

Middletown’s First Methodist Church gives little indication from the exterior that there is a full blown A-A plan inside. The Richardsonian Romanesque building was begun in 1890 from plans by Cleveland architect Samuel Hannaford. Surely there is (was) some sort of movable partition to separate the children (in individual movable chairs) from the adults (in pews).
