Lutheran Church, Ponca, NE

December 13, 2016

Yes, I said Lutheran. Lutheran A-A churches are about as scarce as Episcopal examples. This building in Ponca, Nebraska could easily be mistaken for Methodist or, possibly, Presbyterian, but it is so uncharacteristically Lutheran that I wonder if this might be a typo. Look particularly as the Sunday School wing at the far right.

PS [16March2017]: The Salem Lutheran Church website confirms this as their building, built in 1892 but demolished for a larger facility circa 1981. I’m still of the opinion that this was A-A.
