This scheme — book-matched street elevations with recessed entries, a domed auditorium, and an eccentric Sunday School wing — appear elsewhere in the mid-South, perhaps from the same designer. Here, for example, is the UMC church in New Market, Alabama, built in about 1920 (late for an A-A design) and showing similar book-matched street elevations centered on a dome.
