Presbyterian Church, Indianola, IA

December 23, 2016

Indianola’s Presbyterian church faces west at the southeast corner of First Avenue and Howard Street, and has a well designed educational wing on its south side (the extreme right in this photograph. Very little of the original Sunday School wing are shown here, however. The aerial view is a bit easier to interpret, so I’m adding this to the database and looking for more documentation. If it is/was A-A, my educated guess would be a C-1.

The stepped or Dutch gable on the two street elevations is often found in Iowa, which had a large Dutch immigration.
