Methodist Episcopal Church, Ludington, MI

January 26, 2017

It’s always gratifying to report an A-A church preservation success story. Ludington’s Methodist Episcopal church became the Ludington Area Center for the Arts when to congregation relocated to the city’s suburbs. How the interior has been modified isn’t known but the LACA website assigns an 1894 construction date. From the polygonal shape, there might be a connection with NYC architect L. B. Valk who replicated a configuration like this several times.
