Claude-Nicholas Ledoux, eat your heart out!

San Saba’s UMC claims to be the only Methodist church in the United States built entirely of the local white marble. The Texas historical marker nearby says that it was building during 1914-1917. I’m reading the bump at the far right as a chancel, the space lit by those four vertical windows as the auditorium (with a rightward orientation for the seating, and the Sunday School in the pedimented left hand third of the building. It also seems reasonable assume some sort of connection between those interior spaces.
