Reformed Church, Toledo, OH

February 14, 2017

This was built circa 1916 from plans by local Toledo architects Langdon & Mohly. The client had the unruly name of First Evangelical Reformed Zions Church, now Nu-Vizion UCC, and was jeopardized by its proximity to a major health center. I’ve never seen the interior but seem to recall that the congregation sits at right angles to the entry axis (facing to the left), with a religious education wings extending off to the right. I’m hopeful that there had been an A-A interior.

The most comprehensive treatment of this building can be found at the Prairie School Traveler.
