Methodist Protestant Church, Seattle, WA

The Methodist Protestant church was one of several branches of Wesleyan Christianity that merged in mid-century to form what is today the UMC. This substantial building at Sixteenth Avenue East and John Street has undergone minimal changes, even during its conversion to secular use after the last congregation could no longer support such a large facility, and may be the most far-flung example of the extensive career of Johnstown, PA architect J. C. Fulton.
