German M. E. Church, Charles City, IA

April 9, 2017

Among Lutherans, the A-A was employed by the English- and German-speaking synods. Scandinavians had little if any sympathy for it. Among Methodists it was more widely accepted, though I didn’t realize Methodists came in subgroups like this. At any rate this is a handsome church of the A-B-a-b variation.
