Second Presbyterian Church, Memphis, TN

After 1949 this became more famous as Clayborn Temple A.M.E., an important site in the movement for civil rights. Built as Second Presbyterian in about 1889, it was designed by Minneapolis architects Long & Kees, and has recently undergone a major renovation. These several panoramic interiors of the auditorium fail to show any large scale opening to the Sunday school, so at best this may have been a type “F”.
