Trinity Reformed Church, Wilkinsburg, PA

April 20, 2017

A previous entry showed the roofs of three likely A-A churches in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. One more should have been included there: the former Trinity Reformed Church, a fine almost Richardsonian building from about 1900. Its A-A components show more clearly from the side or rear of the building, which is on a cramped site at the eastern side of the city.

The bracing of the octagonal drum is handled with special grace.
