Methodist Episcopal Church, Roselle Park, NJ

April 23, 2017

The postcard view of this church isn’t scanned yet but it is remarkable for probably not being a postcard: postcard shaped and sized, the reverse is occupied by an architect’s drawing of the plan, leaving no space for an address. From that, at least, we can tell that this was a D-1 type, though the google.maps view along the Grant Avenue elevation (the right-hand side, obscured by the fall leaves) shows a 1950s educational wing which replaced the original Akron plan. The sanctuary was dedicated 13 June 1915.
