Mission Covenant Church, Paxton, IL

May 1, 2017

Now the Evangelical Covenant Church in Paxton, Illinois, this is one of those towns that google.maps hasn’t quite covered yet. So a street view isn’t available. Despite that, the roof view hold out some promise of an A-A plan. If so, however, it’s a type F.

  1. The architect’s sense of proportion and balance is so very good here, Obviously carefully thought through and nicely detailed.

Can you direct me to where the various plan types (A B C D E F) are defined?

  2. Hi, Will: These are my own typology. I can email them to you, if you’d like. It’s pretty rudimentary–being refined as my database expands–but I find it useful in understanding a very large and complex body of work.
