Knox Presbyterian Church, Calgary, AB

May 10, 2017

Regardless of its potential as an A-A church, Knox Presbyterian in Calgary is obviously telling us an interesting story. Perhaps the older portion was retained as “chapel” for the larger, newer element.

The smaller, more “church-like” portion was Knox’s second building and was constructed in 1886. The larger portion behind was added in 1905 but lasted only until 1913. I’m not certain what followed. The current Knox website has no interior photos of these earlier buildings.
