One source credits Nolley Brothers, owners of the local brickyard, as architects for this remarkable Gothic Revival design, which was built in 1910. There is considerably more “church” behind what you see here, including a secondary wing articulated by a brick tower rotated at a jaunty 45° angle — which may have been intentional.
