Presbyterian Church, Eustis, FL

July 3, 2017

Florida was hospitable to the A-A idea, perhaps because its population included a good many Northerners in its earliest days of settlement, a hasty conclusion that needs more research. This Presbyterian church in Eustis (in Central Florida not far from Orlando) was built during 1912-1913 and dedicated the following year. What may not be clear from either of the two above images is the degree of “fun” the architect enjoyed with voussoirs — more than humans ought to be allowed. I’m guessing a “C” or “D” type.
