Presbyterian Church, Reedsville, PA

With the current unwieldy name East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian church, this handsome example of the Gothic Revival stands at the corner of Church and Walnut streets in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. An interim guess for construction date might be circa 1910. This is one of the increasing number of examples that have come to light from sources other than postcards, though I did find one of those. This chocolate brown stone isn’t often encountered in the Midwest or Great Plains (where I’m located), so I tend to react to it more favorably than brick. Architect and other historical details will be added. Count on it.
