Two in Taylor, TX

August 10, 2017

These churches in Taylor, Texas (not to be confused with Tyler, TX) — Presbyterian above and Methodist below — stand on two corners of an intersection, not facing one another. The Methodist building (Gothic Revival, 1891) is by E. B. Mackin, about whom I know nothing else, and the Presbyterian church (Neo-Classical and from 1912-1913) is by an as yet unidentified designer. Neither are confirmed as examples of the A-A.
